7/14/14 summary Cheyeanne Perez
Yesterday I learned how to use a new instrument. It is called a nanodrop spectrophotomter. you put sample of your DNA in it to check the purity and concentrations. I tested all 14 of my samples I had created and it turns out all but 1 were almost exactly what you would want. They all were very pure and had very high concentrations. The one sample that had a very low concentration was one of my maxi preps that I created, so that means I basically throw it away. I was disappointed that it had bad results, but i can just do another maxi prep on another sample.
