Day 8 Summary Cheyeanne Perez
Today I prepared a agarose DNA gel. First i had to measure out 50mL of tae buffer and 0.5g of agarose and mix it in a flask. Then I heated it in the microwave for a minute then waited for it to cool down a little. After it cooled I placed it in a gel electrophoresis machine to cool and solidify. Then in the wells I placed the ladder, and the DNA mixed with the dye. Then I let it run and then I will go get a picture of it and be finished with that part.
