Cheyeanne Perez day 3 summary
Today i finished the transformation of plasmids into the bacteria cell. I started by getting the cells out of the shake incubator from last night and placing a small amount of each tube into another tube. Then I added the first buffer and ran it in a centrifuge. Then i removed all of the liquid I didn't need.. Then I added the second buffer and repeated the process. After that I had to place it in another tube with a filter and add another buffer then place it back in the centrifuge. Then I removed the extra liquid and added the final buffer. Then I removed the filter and I had clean DNA that was ready to be used for anything else.
