Cheyeanne Perez Summary
Today I ran a gel electrophoresis machine to test my DNA that I had transfused. I poured the gel into the mold and let it settle and solidify. Then I placed each of my twelve samples into separate wells. After that i hooked the machine up to the current and let it run for about and hour and forty five minutes. Then I stopped the current and placed ethidium bromide into the water with the gel and let it settle for thirty minutes. Then I rinsed it off and took a picture of it to show the DNA bands. That was basically all i did today, but it was fun.
